Lotuswalk, the retail program at the heart of the Lotus Nisantasi development, embodies a unique 'walk-in' concept that spans underground and acts as a passageway between two bustling streets. Within this space, dynamic geometries and intricate patterns come alive, transforming with the shifting play of daylight, reflections, and refractions. At .formatif, our goal was to enhance the building's accessibility and location through a comprehensive design vision that touches every surface. Infusing a sense of fun into the project, a vibrant array of colors adorns the entire structure, fusing elements of art deco with a playful pop aesthetic. While some critique the terrazzo flooring, likening its appearance to decorative cake sprinkles, it adds a whimsical touch to the space's overall design narrative.
